I just was working at our local wal-mart.... yes laugh now. anyhow they set up a warcraft III display wednesday morning, which i was shocked since it is not supposed to be out till the 3rd. They even had a second display in the back ready to go! I even told my manager that this wasnt supposed to be out (after purchasing a copy for myself) and he said he would check into it then came back later and said that it only is timedated for videos. I dont know if this is nation wide or just at my local West Bend, WI Walmart but check it out! I would be interested to know. Unfortunetly online play doesnt work yet :( it sez the key is denied....go figure. The price on the copy i bought was $57.64 ..plus my discount. I believe Granted the price isnt hot but it is a week early and thats hot!

EDIT: pulled from floor when I looked saturday night.... stuck in back room with flag that sez dont display till july 3rd..... at least I already have it.. and my friends of course.

Excuse your English! You should change the topic to "Warcraft III FOR sale now!" instead of ON sale! You got me! ;)

Yes, but you have to be very good at faking it or the professors will tire of your stupidity very fast! :D

If you want to play on BattleNET where the best players are you have to buy it

I have a no so legitamate copy of the beta and am fully aware that the retail ISO has been around for over a month
but I am going to buy the collectors edition anyway

anyway if you pirate software you should at least know not to brag about it

And remind me why we care? You could get hit by a bus on your way to the adult store to buy visual aides for your lonely late night whack-a-thons and the vast majority of us would be like "coo".

yeah you guys are real cool. its not that difficult to get a copy of a game that big, and it doesnt make you some internet god. no need to brag about it.

besides to play against real competition you gotta go to battle.net

i still like to support the game developers every now and then...although if they keep raising the prices like wc3 then maybe not...:|

Apparently you didn't fake them out as well as you thought if you're college-educated and working at Wal-Mart.

I'm sorry... that's not like me at all. But I saw a shot and had to take it. :p

I'll share in your shame, I worked at Wal-Mart for two months last summer between semesters. :D

No Deal in San Diego.

I went to Walmart to get that blank stare, and no Warcraft III.

Must be a local or one-store screwup.
Hopefully EBGames ships on time and we have something to play next weekend.

On sale is proper English. There is nothing wrong with it. Go back and look up the word sale

Anyways, war3 is nice, not that much different than war2 tho. Single player is a little short and multiplayer is fun. Definitely worth the money.

Oh, and for those who think that the only challenge is on battle.net, I've played a lot harder opponents on lan/internet games than I have on battle.net. There is nothing special about battle.net, just a place to meet challengers (which you can do in many other ways ie. irc, forums, lan parties, etc...). I find most of the people on battle.net to be immature and not very skilled, but that's just my opinion...

true, there are a lot of people who arent very good, but ladder play is the way to go. not many people go to those large lan parties like cpl or quakecon, but even then the people who are really good most likely have bought the game
