This is the same LCD as the Dell 2001 FP, correct?

I'm not sure if this is the same screen as the 2001fp. I know the 2001fp uses the LG.Philips LCD LM201U04 but I don't know what the vp201b uses.

The viewing angle is same on both, 176 degrees, same response time, same pixel size, same brightness and same contrast.

I must've been looking at something else than because I thought the 2001fp had a viewing angle of 88 degrees. Whoops.

But if the two monitors are the same, I'd return the dell and save the $100

Has this been out of stock since this was posted? Anybodt that ordered one, did they give you a potential ship date? Awesome deal, but I dont want to be sitting around for a month or two waiting on it to come in.

this IS the same monitor - but their return policy/exchange policy isn't as good as dell's. so if you get a dead pix, u pay the shipping back if i'm not mistaken...

i'd be all over this if it were the case - oh, and in august/september, viewsonic is replacing all these models with a 12ms version, hence probably the mark down. still a good price though - wish i could justify spending720 on a monitor. :) .
