You should mention Tiger Direct in your title-I was very interested until I found that out.

To qualify for the TigerDirect Rebate Guarantee you must comply with the following:

Complete the attached rebate form and follow all the instructions that apply.
Submit the rebate via Postal Service: "Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested" by the required postmark date to the address on the rebate form.
Please make copies of all materials submitted:
Rebate Form
UPC, Barcode or Serial Number
Invoice or Receipt
Postal Tracking Information

Add certified mail fee to price. OnRebate says they will pay by Paypal in 1-2 weeks, a check in 6-8 weeks.

Will it work? I think I'll try. 1 per household.

Or not. A gig is 113.40 shipped + certified mail x 2 -$40 rebate.
Maybe I'll keep looking for a gig. for 512 mb it should be fine

You seriously need to amend your thread title to show it's tiger direct, and the price is after rebate. :)

I would of course buy 2 so $80 in TD rebates is way too much of a gamble for me. Thnx for trying OP but I haven't had luck w/ these rebates in the past.
