== The BlogZOT promotion is over, but MacZOT still has SubEthaEdit for $19.99, down from the normal $35. ==

Courtesy of MacZOT, SubEthaEdit is today's "BlogZOT."

What that means is this: everyone who participates in the viral marketing promotion by mentioning the promotion on their blog (there are rules...but it should take all of five minutes, tops) knocks the price down by $.05. About five minutes before I posted this, the price was already down to $4.80. The promotion ends at midnight Pacific time -- if the price falls to $0, then everyone who mentioned it in their blog gets it for FREE.

Check out SubEthaEdit here.
It's a collaborative text editor -- kinda difficult to appreciate what it does until you actually try it...but it's a sweet app, nonetheless.

Update: it's now down to $4.30 -- that's $0.50 in 15 minutes. You do the math -- but this one sure looks like a freebie!

You have to click on the link that says "Blog ZOT Price" -- that one is updated...the one on the front page is only updated occasionally.

At the time of this post, the price is down to $2.05

EDIT: Update -- $1.60

Hrmm...maybe they only update the "buy now" price every now and then. I dunno...I'm holding out for the FREE copy I'll be getting when the BlogZOT reaches 700. ;)

Just sign up for a free blog and mention the promo to get your own free copy! :D

$1.25 now, and it hasn't updated in about 10 minutes. I'm guessing the guy who runs MacZOT is taking a dinner break, and there are more than enough left in the approval queue to fulfill the promotion (only 25 more needed).

So, if you haven't already, jump on this deal! It's a $35 shareware package (and worth every penny) for FREE! ...but it ends tonight at midnight Pacific time!

Well, the price has gone down to $0. The promotion states that if that happens, then there will be 3,000 licenses given out (or the promotion stops at 11:59 p.m. PDT, whichever comes first). All the bloggers who posted the promotion get a copy; I'm not sure if those 600 or so licenses come out of the 3,000 total or not.
