I just got one with a $30 off $150 coupon at staples. This is a nice printer for the price....and fast too.

<< I just bought two brand new toner carts for $32 from eBay >>

Yeah, they were the refills -- misleading description on the auction. I cancelled my order.

I literally just got back, and got her up and running. This thing is increadibly fast- I realize it's only b+w text, but this thing
smokes my Epson 900, which was the fastest home printer I have used up to this point. I picked it up at a local b+m, used a coupon for 30 off,
and walked out smiling. Now gotta fill out the rebate.

I just ordered one of these from staples. I also got a free item they offer with a $100 puchase. This is an awesome deal for the price!!!

<< i thought free item coupon not stackable w/ deduction coupons... how did u do it? >>

I tried to do it on the web but it wouldn't work so I called the catalog order number. It didn't take too long and all I had to do is give them the item numbers and coupon codes.

I just got mine running, which is good as my school is moving to "Pay For Print" on Monday.

It printed that itsy-bitsy font on the rebate form just fine. So far, I am pleased with this printer.

damn, I originally didn't plan on getting this, but if it can be had for $30......daaaaaaamn. Anyway, does the staples/OM PM to CompUSA have to be done using BLUE, or will the B&M stores PM CompUSA? Concerned, since I don't have a Blue card. I suppose that it has to be done using AmEx since you're using the online coupons........oy. Someone clear this up for me. :)

<Dudes $20+tax.... I pm w/ the compusa printout at bm i bought it at, so they -$50+tax.... w/ the $30 coupon used originally.>

I am in if it is ~$30

however, I see a few problems

1. compusa is now OOS
2. asking manager in OM, OD, staples to PM and use coupon may NOT work
I have experience that they will do only PM or coupon, but NOT BOTH...

anyone want to comment on this ?

yep, i am *really* contemplating picking up a second one... it's cheaper than buying a new toner cartridge =), alas, i skip on it though, i'm a pretty "Print-Happy" guy, so I might go with the Brother 1440... decisions decisions...

Rebate form says it doesn't expire until the end of May.

How can we PM if the Compusa website says OUT OF STOCK in gigantic letters? Anybody have a screen shot BEFORE it went OOS?

I filled out an online price match form through the officemax website for CompUSA. I put the URL where the printer was .. but I was thinking it shouldn't matter if it says OOS when the officemax people go there, you can always argue, "well, it was in stock right after I ordered it from you guys (officemax)." One problem is, office max says they figure shipping costs into the pricematch. So where officemax gives free next day, compusa wants $40. The "fine print" seemed to suggest that if you didn't put shipping costs in, they would simply add "$5 dollars to the price". It wasn't clear if that was $5 to the sale price of the item, or $5 to the actual shipping charges that they have to figure out. I just put in $0 for the shipping charges at CompUSA. I'll see what happens. Right now I'm getting the printer for about $70 .. if the PM works, it will be $20. Either way, great price on what seems to be a pretty decent printer. It has to be better than this POS HP 693c I've been using.

If u buy it at the normal staples price w/ $30 coupon and come back like 2 days later w/ a printout from compusa u can pm it. The coupon code was posted on the receipt but it didnt say it had to be over $150, so they just left it.
