Clearly a pricing error. Spiegel also has a policy statement about correcting errors and charging your card the full amount. They can't do that legally, but who wants the hassle.

Why bother, unless you feel the need to contribute your "I just got cancelled" note to the inevitable chorus.

First I didnt order that many, and second the minute to deal gets posted here its dead. So basically your being a a$$hole over a deal that have maybe a 1% rate of survival.

They won't charge your card more, they contacy you first, so its worth a try. You could get a friendly sales person who decides to honour the price to gain a new customer.

According to many on the other deal boards, Speigel is notorious for shipping mispriced items at the corrected price without approval. That's why a lot of folks avoided ordering; too much potential hassle from Speigel.....

TO EVERYONE ELSE: if you find a pricing error like this next time, dont bother posting it up, cuz some inconsiderate jacka$$ will ruin the deal and order 100s... just keep it to yourself, and maybe just maybe, they will ship it to ya...

I love how there's nothing wrong with ordering 1, but ordering 100 is somehow dishonest and unethical and evil and blah blah blah. What's the cutoff exactly? Who decides? Do you get to wear a special hat if you're in cfharge? What color is the hat? Is it cashmere?

If you really want to get in on a price mistake deal, the last thing you should do is post about it on a hot deals forum. And every post you guys made flaming the guy who said he bought 100 just bumped this to the top, which in turn got more people to buy, which -- by your clever logic -- made it less and less likely that the deal would go through.

Nothing "dishonest and unethical" about ordering 100, just these are usually the same people the promise to "never shop there again" unless they get what they want, and mention "class action lawsuits" when they don't get their orders shipped.

That is the annoying part!

If you think the price is a goof up, and you order onesie-twosies of stuff, you will get you item, MAYBE - but when you order HUNDREDS you are just wasting your time and setting off alarmbells at the vendor.
