and it wasnt even a bad brand. i used to always use sparkle power supplies...
but ill quit bumping a dead thread.
op you should modify 🙂

Well they ended up canceling one of mine but I did at least get one of them..turns out the specs are different than the PDF as the 12V rail is only 15A not 18A ..still though its a nice and heavy PSU.

Nope , thats about it.

But I did fine a review of the same PSU and it puts out way more than specified, Tom's Hardware measured it @ 390 watts. (the Verax FSP300-60ATV)

Now I am pissed off that Excaliber only sent me one of mine! 😛

More Power Than Specified - Fortron FSP, Verax And TSP

The Verax FSP300-60ATV and Conrad FSP350-60BTP models are a good choice for overclockers, since they measured up well and provided a reasonable amount of power in reserve. Both power supplies are stable in use at their specified maximum load. That's not all: both the Verax 300-watt model and the 350-watt Fortron FSP model switch off when they reach 30% overload, which is a definite plus. Power supplies should switch off when they overheat due to overload, to prevent damage to other hardware components. This feature also lets the user know there is a problem, so that it can be traced and, hopefully, fixed before there is a disastrous failure.

received mine today... looks like a nice solid unit... has an ADDA fan in it so I expect it to be pretty quiet...
Thanks OP!

..I've used Sparkle in all five of my builds and always use em when replacing oem's. Rock solid with lots of air flow.

Got mine today in the mail as well =) Haven't opened the shipping box yet though. Thanks for the links to make me feel even better about my purchase BentValve =)
