Sure, you have to control-alt-delete to kill origin in windows 8.1, its so completely irritating....whaaa....first world problems and stuff....
Being serious origin isn't all that bad. Steam has better variety and sales but EA seems to be good at giving stuff away for free to keep stock price up. I have gotten (over about 30 months) need for speed 4(?), sim city 2, mass effect, dragon age and some other random game I forgot about, BF4 grenade short cut and now dead space all for free. Admittedly I don't own BF4 and I haven't played the other games but free is a great price point for value.

Wow, I can't believe they didn't pay me to install Deadspace. EA is the worst publisher ever. See how they take up my bandwidth cap by offering me a free game!!!!!!

Edit: Lol ok apparently EA heard me and was like "lol this peasant dare make joke on me?" Why isn't this game listed under free? I have to specifically search for it now?

I just remembered the Dead Space series is survival horror.... so not a game I can play by myself 🙁. I can't even make it through the Forest Temple lol. I don't know how I beat Bioshock. Creeped me out to no end though.

I really should just download Dolphin, OC my 4770k, and play Mario Galaxy until I have someone who will play the whole of Dead Space with me here. Mario Galaxy was so much fun and so bright and nice and not scary lol....

I do and from various coupons and promos I now have 4 or 5 games free in my origin library. Admittedly they are games I'd never pay for but who knows maybe some day I'll try them.

Started playing and I think I got stuck...right in the beginning after you get the plasma cutter and cut open the first door you need it for I can't go through the doorway. My character walks in place. I restarted and tried again, same thing. Not a good start. Am I missing something or am I just glitched?

After I got it I realized I still have dead space 3 I haven't even played. I got it free too. They gave it to me since sim city was so screwed up.

Do you have V-Sync forced off? If so, I think there were some scripting bugs when V-Sync is turned off.
