Dead sound card?

So I had a power outage tonight and so I had to reset the CMOS on my computer. So I did that, reset all my settings and then when I got into Windows, instead of having sound I get this loud and constant hissing/static from my speakers. I reseated the card, and tried another PCI slot and still same problem. So I uninstalled my drivers, used Driver cleaner, reinstalled drivers and I still get the same static.

The card is an Audigy 2 ZS, speakers are Logitech Z-5500 in analog mode. Is my sound card just dead or could there possibly be another explanation?

have you tried another set of speakers on this card? also try swapping this card out on to another machine to rule out the card and machine.
