I would link it but I can't seem to manufacture a link to the item as sold by Amazon. They also have the 55" KDS-55A2000 for $1949.98. I've been watching the prices drop and figured it was time to share the love with the AT folks. My plan is actually to purchase the TV from OneCall and pricematch it to Amazon's shipped price, since their warranty prices are lower and they cover bulb replacement. $1909.60 should get you the 50" with a 5yr warranty with bulb replacement, shipped to your door. As a YMMV, OneCall has a coupon offer going that could get you an additional $75 off, but I don't suppose they'd add it to your PM.

I have the 50 inch TV and it's simply amazing. I got it a few months ago from CC for $2100 and I got 5% back as a gift card so this deal is pretty hot. I think SonyStyle has the tv for $1800 as well.
 
Now at $1799.99 @ Amazon although almost $200 more for shipping.

It's $1899.99 with free shipping from Sony from 11/24 - 11/27. Don't know how much longer that will last since today is 11/28 but it's still $1899.99 when you add to cart.

Is this HDCP compliant over the HDMI inputs? Can't find this for sure on Sony's site.
 
These sets are very nice. I just picked up the 60" this weekend from CC. Looks great at 1920x1080 w/ my HTPC but the VGA input on these things is useless -- only 1366x768 and doesn't fill the screen. You need to use a dvi->hdmi cable to get 1080p.

I saw this TV today at circuit city for $1899. I've had mine for about a month and it is amazing. HD and xBox 360 are unbelievable, Digital SD is good, analog SD, eh, so be sure about which signal you get from your cable or other provider.
 
Just picked one up today. It can be had for $1615 at bestbuy today with the 12% off coupon for reward zone. circuit city has it today for about $80 more.... sweet deal!!!!

I'm assuming that's in-store only?

My BB doesn't have the 50" in stock ATM. I could get it shipped though.
 
If this ever hits $1,500 with free shipping on Amazon.com - it will take all the willpower in the world to resist the urge.
