Just bought it!! Well I thought I bought the 1907FP the first time for $309 out the door (a week ago), but I got a 1906FP instead (I think I just mistakenly ordered the wrong monitor). Anyway, since then, the 1907FP has gone on sale for $271.20 with free shipping. But you can also get a $35 off $300 coupon (~$1 on eBay) and apply it toward the sale price. If you aren't charged tax, that is $236.20 out the door. If you are charged tax, mine came out to $255.68 (Texas). Not a bad deal at all!


Edit: 4/22/06 It looks like the ebay coupns are back again! Another price drop from Dell. You can now get the LCD for $219.25AC!!!!



Edit: 5/04/06 Dell went up on the price to $288.15. I guess you can still use the coupon, but it will only take it down to $253.15 (just ~$1 cheaper than the older sale price).

i'm assuming that jack added another item so his total was over 3.
im eying this real hard
idk cause of the whole samsung panel thing in the other thread
but its hasnt been this cheap
and idk if i want a widescreen for the games

It looks like it goes by the original price of $339, so I'm assuming that is why it works. Like I said, I just order it. Nothing extra. Just a 1907FP and a coupon. That's it.

Ohhhh, my bad. It's the 2005FP, not the widescreen version. Seriously, I saw that wrong earlier and was trying to pass along some good info.

Can anyone recommend a good budget dual video card? I'm not a gamer, just looking for good resolution for desktop apps.

I just got this one for the machine that was going to be connected to the 1907. ATi is known for its crisp 2D, that's why I got it. I had a Radeon 8500 and it was great for that. I had five main requirements for the video card though:
1. AGP
2. DVI out
3. Good 2D
4. no fan (I want it as quiet as possible)
5. cheap


Edit: Not sure if you wanted dual DVI out. The card above has one VGA and one DVI.
