Great deals! They have some notable units including the lowest wattage (easily available) 80Plus Gold units. If you are building an energy efficient non-gaming computer, the 360W one is perfect! They also have 80Plus Gold TFX PSUs!

perfect timing. I just got the 360w. Too bad it's not modular. There are supposed to be modular g series coming out though.

Damned nice sale!

BTW....fixed that for you.... ;)

What Delta units are as good? Far as I've seen recently, only Antec uses Delta based units and I have not seen Antec rated as highly as seasonic.

Now, corsair's flextronic based units are AS good, but I haven't seen any experts claim they are better.

The Platinum seems like an amazing value vs. all the competitors that cost way more. Also, the Platinum and Golds seem to operate in Hybrid mode which doesn't turn the fan on for the first 250-450W, depending on the model. For a lot of people they would be operating as fanless at idle!

You are right about that - 1000w Platinum for less than $200...nobody else is touching that, and what's amazing is that this is the best PSU out there, period, regardless of wattage.

- "This is as close to the perfect power supply we're going to get, people."

- "The Seasonic Platinum-1000 is quite literally THE power supply on the market today."

- "Yeah, let me just say it, this might be the best PSU we've ever tested."

And by the way, yes, you'll definitely be in silent mode at idle, and frankly, with 1000w, you may be at load as well... ;)

The Corsair ax1200i is the only power supply in the same league.
