Where?

Rebate expires on June 30th and the deal is a pre-order. It must ship before the 30th... so there is a chance the rebate may not work.

Rebates go by the order/purchase date, not ship date.
As long as you order drive before 6/30, and get the drive and submit rebate before 7-30-06 I dont see how there would be a problem.

I don't think it was a mistake. Large capacity HDs have been pretty cheap for a while now. The Maxtor 200GB 8MBer has been available for ~$50 (after MIR and even with NO MIR) for months now.

This drive is a good deal at $110 shipped, but it's not a "steel".
