So with the $30 rebate (they've gotten better with actually coming through) and including tax (free shipping), that brings it down, for me, to $201.11. If you don't pay taxes in your area, then it's about $16 less.

Great deal but... should I buy or wait to build later on this year with the latest Zen incarnation?

The 1700X for $186 is a great CPU for the price. I built my oldest son a new PC with that CPU a couple months ago after he had blown past an i3 and i5 CPU's capabilities. It's a great CPU for heavy multi-taskers / content creators. The new 2700(x) CPUs are faster (I think around 8-13% overall), but they are also more expensive.
