*Dead* Sandisk Sansa e250 2GB MP3 Player with microSD - $32.95 shipped @ Amazon

Great price! Lots of accessories available cheap through Amazon as well. Case plus screen protectors $1.35, wall charger plus car charger $2.93, wall charger $1.60.

Darned! I paid $43 from Amazon just a few days ago.
I needed it for a b/d gift so waiting wasn't an option.
Great deal btw!

Amazon is great about giving credit refunds for price drops if it is within 30 days of purchase. Contact them by email or give them a call at 800-201-7575 or 206-266-2992 (Fax: 206-266-2950).

OOPS! I just realized this is sold through beach camera on amazon so the price adjustment probably wont work. Sorry!

Yeah. I bought this via A1Book or something in that order store via my Amazon account.
Thanks for the tip anyway in which I may need for the future reference, btw.

I can't believe I missed it. I got an 8GB memory module from an e280 off eBay and was looking for a cheap e250 to "upgrade". If anyone who got in changes their mind, let me know. 🙂

You can't put an 8gb microsd HC card?

You can't with the default firmware, but I believe if you install Rockbox, it can support SDHC cards 4GB+. Newegg says it supports them too.

I'm pretty sure an official firmware upgrade from the company has allowed it to play SDHC cards. You don't have to mess with rockbox if you don't want to.

I would be careful with microSDHC cards. There is a very good chance the official firmware will NOT support it forcing you to go with Rockbox. On the other hand, there is also a very good chance you get a v2 player which is INcompatible with Rockbox.

..looks good. only charges thru USB??

Yes, charges through USB port only. Battery life is... pretty much forever, LOL. Okay, around 20 hours, so pretty good. It is on the heavy side for something this smalll. Screen smudges and scratches really easily. The volume/nav wheel feels flimsy.

I have both this (4GB version) and C250 (2GB version) and like them both... except for the slow "refreshing database." The C250 does it all the time. The E250 doesn't seem to if it hasn't been hooked up to a USB port or doesn't have a micro SD card inserted.

Player is now $39.99 with free shipping (at Amazon through Beach Camera), which still seems to be a good deal.
