Staples also has a good deal going on for the Sandish Cruzer Micro 16GB and 8GB versions.

Cruzer 16GB $29.99

Cruzer 8GB $14.99

Newegg has the 16Gb Cruzer Micro for $57 and buy.com has it for $42.56, so $30 for it at Staples is a decent deal. I actually went to Best Buy and had them price match it to the Staples $30 price, and then I used my $25 in reward zone money, so $5 for it.

In my opinion, this is one of the best USB flash drives to get, since it doesn't have a removal cap, instead the USB connector just slides in and out.

but it's thicker than the old sandisk style usb drives.

Do you guys know where to pick up a replacement keyring for these? Mine snapped and I tried going to Ace Hardware to find one, and they didn't have one small enough.

good deal -- I picked up 2 16gb drives using price-match @ officemax and used my 15 off 50 coupon! 45+ tax for 2! 🙂

These aren't particularly fast at all. I have (2) 1gb, (2) 2gb, (1) 4gb, and (1) 8 gb Micro Cruzers. They work great and I like it for the retractable plug, not needing a cap to ever lose like the other USB drives I own. I forget but the older 1gb ones I have can't be used for Vista/Win 7 Readyboost.

Cruzer Micros are SLOW... They are slower than the Titaniums, and my titaniums bench around 19 read / 13 write max. (Which isn't too bad, but why do you think Sandisk doesn't make any claims about the Micro's speed?)
