Can anyone confirm if my existing GE Link LED's (A19 and BR30) are 100% compatible with this?

would i be able to do a lot of stuff with just this and an amazon echo or would i need to invest in some other items like wemo switches/hue bulbs? don't know too much about home automation stuff.

Basically this unit is the brain of home automation. It sends & receives signals to devices. So you'd use like your smartphone to open your blinds, and this is the middleman that would route the commands, store the schedules for stuff like turning on or off the lights at certain times, and so it. This unit is poised to be the best in the DIY market.

I'd imagine they're not going to take away any functionality on the 2.0 model. So chances are, you're probably good to go.
