Amazon has the Samsung Evo 840 500GB model for $259.99, the lowest price it's ever been on Amazon according to Camelcamelcamel, $25 cheaper than newegg and $20 cheaper than it was just yesterday on Amazon.

Bonus: The 500 GB is the smallest that has the same performance as the larger drives.

Honestly, I think around $0.50/GB is an amazing price. I remember buying crappy 160GB SATA hard drives in 2006 for that price. Of course, in 5-10 years, SSD's will be twice as fast and $0.10/GB.

I ordered one hours before the price dropped, so I had them refund me the price difference.

Nothing that's a quality drive, anyway. Maybe the Kingston V300 crap drives or the like.
