It's a great price for that drive and I've not really seen it lower so a Hot Deal by definition. Thanks for sharing. Not low enough for me to want to buy one but that's more because I was spoiled by 830 prices.

Don't forget to mention it comes with Assassin's Creed 3.

This would be a better deal if you are considering buying two anyways. In my situation my mobo only has two sata 6gb so this might be a warm deal if you have a similar build.

Forgot to mention it also comes with a game coupon of AC3 which you might either be interested in or could possibly sell for about 25. I should be getting the game with my pony gtx 670 that's supposed to come in, so to me its an afterthought.

Yup. only the 512 version. Someone was mentioning needing two probably for a raid setup. But if it was only for storage means then the 512 version would be best imo.

Yeah, RAID 0 doubles speeds, the only way to fly.
Once you experience it, you can never go back.
I couldnt even imagine spending $450 for a storage only drive
Two 3TB Hitachis RAIDed 0 on Intel SATA 3G ports would be fine for that
But no hurry, I can wait.
