Agreed, almost makes me lament buying my 2600X but then again i don't need the extra cores and prefer the higher clockspeeds.

2600(X) boosts higher. They apparently "fixed" boost / XFR in the Ryzen 2000-series CPUs. The 1000-series, mostly needed to be manually overclocked, although possibly not the 1800X, as it was clocked higher than the rest and had a higher boost / XFR clock (4.0Ghz, or close to it?).

Still, GREAT CPU for that kind of money. If I only had the spare change, I'd consider it. Ryzen 3000 series (7nm) is going to be even better!
