Hell that's a knockoff of like 99.99999% of games though.

The plot is to figure out wtf is going on btw. I'm sure if I ended up in a mall w/ a crap load of zombies that would be my ultimate objective. 😛

I'd say my objective would be to stay alive.
 
There is a plot to the game...to figure out what the hell is going on at the mall. Killing the Zombies is just a side item...but definitely the most entertaining.

Sure the plot resembles a B-movie...but that is what they were going for...and a lot of people who like the "zombie" type movies want that B-movie quality. It adds a lot of humor just like all the ways you get to kill the zombies adds a lot of humor.

I've got the demo...it really only shows off the fun to be had killing zombies as they don't give too much of the story away...but that alone is a riot. I've played for hours already killing the zombies in different ways each time...its a hoot.

I may not buy this game right away (got too many games to play at the moment), but I definitely want to pick it up one day.

And it being a GTA ripoff...are you serious? That's like saying every video game is a pong ripoff. Sure there is a free roaming environment, but nothing else about the game resembles GTA. Now Saints Row (also a fun game) is a DIRECT GTA ripoff.
 
Some of it reminds me alot of Shaun of the Dead. You can go into a music store and grab a handful of CDs and start whipping them at zombies.

Just all the different weapons and different ways you can use weapons was a good laugh in the demo.

I don't know if I'll buy it but I'll defintely give it a rental for some late night gaming.
 
Where did this god damn trend toward embedding perfectly good, standard video into flash start?! Flash is evil! Youtube, google, and now gametrailers? This is seriously getting out of control...

BTW, on topic, the game looks VERY repetitive. Not my bag.

Let me ruin it for you it is:

A) Toxic waste spill
B) Government experiement gone wrong
C) Meteorite radiation
or
D) Mutated virus

 
this game is a blast. it's more story driven than it might seem from the demo. plus you have side missions you can do as well, saving various folk. i'm not sure why anyone would call it a gta knock off (that comes out later this month, it's called saints row).
