dead rising demo on XBL

I had the same problems. It got to about 20% and then I never could get it to resume.

I downloaded it fine a couple weeks ago.

I just bought it last weekend and it is a blast but really hard in some parts.

there's a dead rising demo now? heh... its only $30 new. well worth it.

I was really excited about this game, but they ruined it by keeping you on a mission completing schedule, I liked running around beating the crap out of zombies, hated having to make it from Point A to Point B to rescue someone or beat a boss.

If they make a sequel to this, I hope they decide to give you more freedom over when you have to be at a given location, it pretty much ruined the game for me.

Yea I didn't like that aspect. The game is a great game and gives you a lot of freedom but it's all taken away by having to be somewhere at a certain time.

This was a decent game, but the NPCs were ridiculously stupid, making most of the later attempts to escort them through giant hordes of zombies nearly impossible (these are not necessary to complete the game, of course). One or two NPCs are manageable, but more than that and they'll get stuck and eaten.

I hate timed missions, and that's all this game is but I was still able to enjoy it despite that and the fact that the gameplay is a little rough around the edges. Definitely worth a look, especially for $30.
