If youre gonna buy a refurb, you can find RX 7570/580's on ebay, refurb and used, for around $75-$109 bucks, and the 580 is much faster in game tests vs the 1650. Now that 1660 TI, thats a sweet card and holds its own pretty good on the cheap. But I see rx 580 4gb ones on ebay all the time for around or under $100 and its around 20~ fps faster then the 1650.

Unless Im missing what a 1650 can do being newer tech then a rx cannot do, but I havent read anything about that as of yet.

Some of the 1650, like the itx variant above, don't require 6/8 pin/external power connectors. There are also low profile variants, so they are useful for prebuilts as a potential upgrade.

You can. But these are FACTORY refurbs, sold through OFFICIAL channels. IME, they're practically like brand-new. In fact, for models that are being phased out, they may well actually BE new.

Yeah factory stuff is typically returns as in I bought this then my dad made me return it or I bought this and I am afraid to install it or I bought this and it doesn’t over clock as I expected. Likely very, very few had actual problems.

Ive yet to have zero problems buying a used or refurb card. I HAVE recently however, had problems with my NEW XFX RX 5700 XT, for I got a dead one the day I installed it, for the screen went total black and never came back on when the driver said screen may flicker installing display driver. Then when I got my other card from them, it installed with no problems at all, and worked great for about 2 weeks, then started giving me a black or green screen resulting in rebooting my pc. Then I got that and artifacts on my bios screen that would go away if I hard shut down and restarted again, but would still random green/black out and restart my pc, with the artifacts again. Then it finally gave artifacts all the time in bios and windows, and no matter how many times I would shut it down and restart, the artifacts wouldnt go away, to the point I had to rma a 2nd one, and this time I was sent a brand new card in oem box, with seal still intact, and have yet to have, while knocking on wood, no problems yet.

It wasnt a driver issue with the last 2 because the one would black out once it said installing driver, and I tried it with 4 different drivers, and 2 pc's with the same results, and the 2nd card installed just fine with the driver I tried when I got it, and from that point till it finally bit the dust, I didnt update the driver, or any drivers on my pc for that matter, or change any of its hardware, just went south over time.

So needless to say, will no longer buy xfx stuff because of this, new or used. Ive had 3 used RX 580 units, and still have one of them still, and havent had a single problem with them, or my used GTX 1070/80 cards, and my son is still using my 1070 on his rig now for almost a year with him, with no problems that I actually got used, very cheap, that supposedly had no display, and was ready to bake the card when I got it, but worked just fine when I got it, and has since.

So new, used, refurb, there is always a chance, but Id take a used card however over a refurb, as long as its listed as working with no problems, over a refurb that there is a higher chance that it may not work at all, or for a short period, unless it come with a min of a 6 month warranty.

All OOS now! Will post again, if I find more (factory) refurbs selling on Newegg. I personally find these to be a good source of GPU "deals" for builds. That is, if your "customers" don't mind "factory refurb" GPUs. (Which, if you offer your own "limited warranty" on the complete system, I don't think that they would find any issue with that, so long as you disclose that the GPU is a "factory refurb" to begin with.)

bump for new deal, Gigabyte GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 ITX single-fan for $139.99 on ebay (Newegg).

That, I believe, is actually $10 UNDER MSRP for a GTX 1650 D5 (ITX) model. Not bad. At least, it's a step in the right direction. IMHO, they should be selling for $100 new.

The new 1650 Super cards are also worth a look, for just a little more, you are getting one heck of an improvement over a vanilla 1650. The Super 1650 has GDDR6 and uses the same GPU as 1660, except it has less cores and less memory interface bits, but nearly 1660 level performance.

So this or a 1650 Super would be a good investment? The only gaming that I do is an online racing game Trackmania and my current video card is a GTX 950. I'm upgrading my PC, will probably have either a Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X. Refurb Supers at Newegg for $165 shipped or less, new for $169 shipped or more.
