Says "test, do not purchase", dealer seems reputable, and according to the rules on Half.com, you are legally bound to sell anything you list...YMMV

I bought 1. For $1, why not just see what happens?
Do we have a lawyer here? That would definitely help.

You're going to get a lawyer involved over something like this?

i think he was kidding dude

Of course I am asking if there's a member who happens to pratice law, and has the spare time ... otherwise this sales won't be completed.
But again, I am not desperate for a laptop. It's just fun.

From half.com:

I confirmed an order and realize I can't fill it. What can I do?

You can now report that problem to the buyer directly from our site using Half.com's Buyer/Seller Communication tool. Just follow the easy steps below:

Log in to your account.
Select Sales.
Find the transaction you are unable to ship. Sales are sorted by date, from newest to oldest (up to 7 days old).
Click on the View Details link next to the transaction.
On the detail page, you'll see a red Report Problem button. Click that and follow the instructions to let the buyer and us know that you are unable to fill the order.

I could not resist. I dont understand this thread either, why am I typing on my 811 dollar compaq900Z, with XP1800+, 24XCDR/DVD combo drive, 20 GB hard drive.

I dont understand why I am here after I got my self such an incredible deal with my compaq. Damn, I am cursed. God please help me, please help me clear the clouds that keeps on making me want to participate in the next hottest deal.

That feels good, gotta pray, my friend. God bless.
