I'm changing my rating to "decent, but not awesome". 2x4GB sticks... 4GB sticks are nearly obsolete.

Still could be pretty useful for building some entry-level rigs though.

These would be particularly nice for the low end APUs that are only rated for DDR3 1600, but can benefit from dual channel (eg, A4-7300).

Yeah thats what I thought. 8gb still works well and still works for gaming. Example BF4 with a good videocard can function with no loss of performance on 4gb of system ram.

Or if you have a system you want 16gb and already have 8gb with two slots open. $24 upgrade.

I currently have a 2x4 set of PNY memory with exact same specs. I can probably stick the two sticks on one channel, then put this 8 GB module on it's own channel.
