Dead Pixels

Woke Up with a single line from the top of the laptop monitor to the bottom, the laptop wasn't dropped... Is there anything that can be done or am I basically screwed?

Are they really dead? Like are the pixels BLACK or are they a shade or red, green, or blue....

If they are colored at all they are actually STUCK pixels which can sometimes be restored.

run that test for about 9 hrs....it won't fix itself in like 10 mins
