Dead Pixel?

just bought this 19 inch LCD form a good friend and I think I see one dead pixel on it. It's only on lighter areas and I didn't see it until I opened Word because of the lighter backgrounds... Is there a way to fix it? or is the pixel frozen?
 
try dead pixel buddy to make sure it's a dead pixel. There are some "home remedies" but honestly they are pretty bad for the LCD and can ruin them completely.
