hopefully this is the corect place for this but anyways I just got home today and go turn on my computer system and monitor which is an samsung syncmaster 172x 17" LCD that I probably have had for a little over a year or so now which I bought off newegg brand new in perfect condition not one bad pixel and an awsome picture.

Well as soon as i boot windows up i noticed right in the middle of my screen there is this little green dot. I'm so upset right now because my screen was perfect before up until today. Why would it take all this time for a pixel to go dead? or could it be stuck? whats interesting about it too is it only shows up when there is a black background on the screen or I have nothing covering up my background image of a road underpass during nightime thus the background around the pixel area is brownish. It shows of visably here as well with its darn green dot stairing me in the face....grrr.
