I just got a Sony Hi8 camcorder from Crutchfield (MSN rebate deal) and after testing it out I find that there is a dead pixel on the camcorder's CCD. When I was recording, I saw a stuck pixel on the swing-out LCD panel and when I played back the tape I ALSO saw it on the television screen, so I know it's the CCD not the LCD panel. Am I being fussy if I return the camcorder or is it expected that they all have a pixel bad or two? I hear stuck/dead pixels problems are actually fairly common, but I find it too distracting.
