I am in Cincinnati and we were walking back from lunch. We see a pigeon flopping on the ground dying. A security guard was standing next to it and telling someone on his radio about it. We get back to our building and we are sitting out front a pigeon lands in front of the building and starts flopping around on the ground. It stopped moving after 1-2 min and is now dead. One of the guys said he read about a guy dying from West Nile in Campbell county we are downtown and that is just across the river in Kentucky. This sucks

It's probably someone poisoning in the area because they are sick of them. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

They track and catalogue West Nile Virus.

Find a dead pigeon and you call animal control. Animal Control's Mosquito control department catalogue it and sees if there is a upsurge in West Nile or not. At least that is what happens in Houston.
