I've used these: 'Girlfriend picked up a pair for ~$120 at SamsClub a couple of years ago ($130 for the pair on Amazon just now). Note: it would be silly to buy a single unit at $120 when a double unit goes for $130 and has an extra head worth $12 (along with a second power handle).

At $25/2 replacement brushes, they're over-engineered and over-priced: they could've made much simpler brush ("head") assemblies. So it goes.

For myself, I bought the AA battery-powered version -- $25 on Amazon -- which seems to me to be functionally identical to the OP's unit except for the batteries.
- Rechargeable batteries last over a month
- Mine didn't come with plastic "travel case" or extra "heads"
- I didn't need the outlet or charger the OPs unit does
- I didn't feel silly for spending all that dough on a toothbrush

'Not knocking the OP's post or the units -- the latter are solid and durable, just insanely priced.
