Several people have gotten B&M stores to price match their online price.

Print the page before heading to the store.

Great price for a great set. Was $2999.99 until this past weekend.

Item no longer on the website. Unless Tweeter stores went ahead and slashed the in-store prices (call to check), this deal looks to be dead.

Many consider it the best DLP picture out there. I think it's the only one using an 8 segment color wheel at this time and has the HD2+ chip instead of the newer HD3 chip that are in many new models. Difference in chips is HD3 is a bit cheaper to make and uses 1 mirror for every 2 pixels. HD2+ uses 1 mirror per pixel. Most consider the HD2+ a crisper picture, the HD3 a softer film-like picture. Personal preference between the two chips and you should view the different ones to which you like. Many of the newer Samsung that are a bit lower in price use the new HD3 chip.

Most put this up there with or above the Mits DLPs for picture quality.

The only real cons at this point are somewhat limited connections (1 HDMI, 3 component, 3 regular, and 2 RGB) and some have slightly noise fans. Fan issue seems better on newer builds. Still, I have one and the fan doesn't bother me. It's not very noticeable unless the room is quiet and you are listening for it. But, that is pretty much all DLPs.

Even though it was sold out, many people were price-matching in store.

Item is no longer on the website which should effectively kill this deal. It was a heck of an offer and I know at least 2 folks that got one. This Panasonic DLP is a hidden gem. Hard to find but an incredible set if you can get one.

Lots of places sell it. However, to get Tweeter locally to sell it for $2249 was a steal. To find any B&M selling it at $2249 is a steal.
