well... my P6T Deluxe has finally bit the big one... had it since day one when the LGA1366 came out.
it would cost about $140 AR replacement to get the P6T WS Pro... but i'm hoping to find something a little better... something with USB3 and SATAIII... but NEEDs to have SAS
my requirement is that it must have SAS.
and LGA1366.
my current cpu is an i7-970, two sas drives in raid 0, one 7970 and one 7950
wish list is:
three PCI-e x16 slots
USB3
SATAIII.
i have info on these drives that i need to get off... just odds and ends i've been messing with and links that i need.
I'd be willing to go with a non sas board if there's a way to get the drives mounted on a controller card and not lose the information.
the sas controller used on the motherboard was a Marvell 88SE6320.
