Howdy

I've got a dead P2B... stops halfway through W2K graphical boot, when I turn it off, the keyboard numlock light stays on... so I assume it is toast.

I have a Solt 1 Pentium II 350... so would it be better to buy another Slot 1 board (like the Asus P3V4X), and eventually upgrade to a P3 - or is this a dead end... what about replacing the board with a Duron processor and motherboard (socket A).

This machine is used for testing now, maybe a application server in the future, so I don't want to dead end too soon.

TIA

Brian
