If I had to guess, these speakers aren't expensive because of the quality of the speakers, but rather for the technology they use.

Never used them but tempting because it retails everywhere else for over $100. Not sure if I want to jump on this or not and get rid of the wires going to my rear set.

So it looks like you have a modem that converts AC to Analog Audio.....which then is attached via wires to the speakers.

So you will still be running a AC power line to the modem, then audio wire to the speakers.

I guess this eliminates the 2 audio cables running from your AV rack, but at what quality cost?

Still, this is pretty neato if you want sound elsewhere in the house, or outside somewhere.

I wonder what the effect of AC line length has on signal strength and clarity?

Edit: Ouch, $20 s/h
