Dead or Alive Volleyball for the XBox, video game softporn

I played this game a little at the local EBX on lunch today. My god, it's the game at pre-teen boys have been waiting years for! It'll sell millions! It'll be $50 until the XBox 2 comes out!

It's also the equivalent of The Barbie Riding Club game for males. You have to buy hot chicks gifts to maybe get them to play volleyball with you, and you can move the camera around for the ultimate in pixel closeups of hot, digital groin areas, chest, etc. This is the most shallow game I have ever seen, and yet it will fly off the shelves into the hands of 13-17 year old XBox owners all over the world. Amazing.

I wonder if you finish it, if it unlocks a nudie version or something. It should, that would double sales!

Anyone else toyed with this game yet? What do you think, masterpiece of gaming excellent, or softcore porn? for the young masses?

Yeah, this way their teenaged son will be shielded from all of the lewdness in society. It's just a game. You see 10x worse by staying up till midnight to watch Showcase Friday nights.

I love their commercial.

It has about six teenaged guys sitting there playing the game (camera view is facing the teens, from the TV's point of view)

...cuts to scenes of the girls playing ball, looking good, etc.

Cuts back to the guys, they all reach over, grab couch pillows, and cover their laps...

But it's such a good basic physics lesson for the youngun's! You do know that they incorporated separate physics models for the various curvy bits of the women to move and jiggle independently with movement as they would in real life, right? American children already lag behind the rest of the world in math and physics, surely you don't want your kids to be a part of this saddening trend.

i tried the game,, it sucked.

A co worker bought an xbox system with 2 controllers SPECIFICALLY for this game and this game only. He loves it. He is 28 yrs old also.

Yes, he does play the game for its gameplay.

Geez. When are they going to do it right and just bring back Leisure Suit Larry. Cut out the false pretenses and just make the game what they REALLY want to make the game about from the start.

Hehe...if I buy this game my wife will give me a physics lesson upside my head with an infant in the house and her 14 year old brother over all the time.

Actually, I'm more strict than she is when it comes to kids. No computers, tvs, or videogame consoles in the bedroom and I restrict what movies and music that her brother can watch/listen to while he is in our care. I took him to Best Buy one time so he could use a gift card he got for Christmas and he came back with a bunch of hardcore gangsta rap CDs. I popped him upside the back of the head and had him put them back.

He could have saved some cash and picked up Beach Spikers for the Gamecube for $10 at Best Buy. Graphics are still good and the gameplay is excellent, plus it doesn't look like something off of the Playboy Channel.

that game was a HUGE flop. Only sold about 35,000 copies in two months whereas DOA did that in about a week.

I showed him this thread and he added that he likes the game also to collect the things for each person.. Something like 300 plus items for each person.

Personally, I think he likes to paint the walls at night in his apartment, but thats his own deal. He is a very mild mannered person and just likes anime and games like this.. shrug
