Good Question Bump.... It's still listing as the same price and the rebates are still showing. Who said 11:00 CST and why?

Historically all Dell promo's end at 11:00 PM CST.

Yes it may still be on their website but I wouldn't take my chances.

This should be interesting....

My acceptance notification says the order went in 11/26 at 11:00:05 PM.

Hmmmm..... Price looks right. All the rebate forms just say through 11/26. You think this'll fly?

Total: $834.60
-100 holiday
-170 memory rebate
-140 hd rebate
-200 dimension rebate
-100 student early bird

= $124.60 + 30 FedEx ground = $154.60

Then my parents who use aol get 6 free months:

- $144 (I'm not going to make them pay me, I just like justifying it this way)

= $10.60

:):D:):D:):D:):D:):D

RossMAN:

The other MIR's are kinda iffy.

You listed 4, and you say other MIRs. There is more than 1 other? I thought there were only 5 total? Which one(s) do you think is iffy?

I think that you guys still have about 30 min left...

reason: This deal involves all Mail in Rebates and they only depend on the Order date (11/26/02 in this case)

Its with Dell coupons and special ONLINE discounts that end at 11:00 PM CST. since there are no coupons or online discounts for this deal, it should be valid for the extra hour.

So, everyone who hasnt gotten on this deal so far, you have 30 min left (29 actual min now ;) )

good luck...

T - 28 minutes and counting now.....

Thanks rossman yet again for all your info and help to everyone:)

I thought there was a total of $760 in MIRs (if you buy the 3 year on site warranty which I had to for 30% off).

I saw on skinny purse that one of the guys who purchased the 8250 using his own FedEx account had his order shipped via 2 day even though he typed ground.

If you verified the carrier you entered (clicked on the Edit button again), you would see that the method only accepts the first word you typed. For example:

Carrier: FedEx
Account: #########
Method: FedEx ground

would verify as FedEx for the method. I finally just entered "ground" for method to make sure it stuck. 2 day shipping for a 39 pound box isn't that crazy, but it could cost 2x or more than fedex ground would cost.

I wasn't really paying that much attention but here's what I entered:
FedEx
2xxxxxxxxx
Ground

Where would I see which method of shipping was chosen for me? It seemed to have accepted Ground.

I took the plunge...now tell me what I can use a second computer for. I really see no reason for this but I couldn't hold back. I live by myself in a studio apartment...urgh so its not like someone else will use it. Oh well, at least it will match the Dell 1900FP I just bought.

Dammit. I was afraid of that. Is there any way to go and change the shipping method and keep this deal intact?

Well I guess I could try this again.

If you were to login to your FedEx account, what numbers / letters would you use, the combination you choose when you first registered or the ones that they give you?

I use the information that I got when I signed up to login, where on the website could I find the account number they are suppose to assign to you?

How many emails did everyone get when they first signed up, 1 or 2?

Thanks!

I doubt payment method will matter, its just a way of getting money. I think they realize that not all students have CC's

I am sure you guys can call and change your shipping information before the package ships. That's what I am planning on doing if I ever learn how to get the account number.
