FYI: For those people who are worried about not getting the Novimex leather chair $50 rebate try doing this: There are 2 sticker type UPC code on the box, you can peel off one of the UPC codes to send in with the rebate without cutting up the box (sending copies of UPC code are OK too). When you submitt the rebate using the on-line form you will recieve a tracking number for the rebate, use that number to keep track of the rebate on-line at RebateHQ.com to see when they say that your rebate has been received and is being processed, if you include you email address on the rebate form they will send you a email when they receive you mail-in part of the rebate form. If they reject your rebate you can return the chair to the store. The return policy for furniture is 30 day, it should take RebateHQ.com about 10 to 14 days to post the status of your rebate on their web site after you mail it in.

Btw, I also found this item on OM's site, a 256MB USB flash drive, Microadvantage, on clearance for $39.99. Certainly, price-per-meg-wise, the 128MB is a better deal, but for someone looking for a larger-sized device, $40 is a decent deal.

Plus, these might also be on "more clearance" during the one-day sale as well, who knows.

PS. I've been to my local OM store twice in the past week looking for cheap DVD media, both times coming up empty. But I do recall seeing those K-H spindles in-stock. I wish I had know about this upcoming sale, I dropped $20 at CompUSA for 50 of their slightly sub-par 1X Princo DVD-Rs fraudulently sold as 2X, the K-H +R couldn't be any worse (CMC?), and should be a faster speed. Arg. "Wasting" money on one Hot Deal, when another even better one shows up a day later, is annoying. :p

it's odd. i got the novimex leather chair last week. it was advertised online, but the local store that i went to here had a completely different chair than the advertised one. and they had like 30 of the chairs, but weren't advertising them as being $49.99. it seemed odd to me.

and no rebate was printed out in the store. i went ahead and printed one out and submitted anyway.

so it remains to be seen if it actually is FAR...

Did you check to see if the SKU or the UPC from the chair that you bought matched the SKU or the UPC on the rebate form to make sure you bought the right chair?
