This is hot. I've always received my rebates from OCZ and they are pretty fast, and never had issues with their SSD's. I've used 3 OCZ SSD's and the price can't be beat. If you're on the fence, now is a great opportunity. Can't understand why other brands are so much more expensive. If you can get a SSD for $1/GB, it's a deal. At .90/GB, even better.

Because the smart money is on staying away from Sandforce controllers. Not to say that this isn't hot...it is. And not to say that Sandforce hasn't come a long way since it's beginnings...it has. But the Samsungs, Intels, and other drives using non-Sandforce controllers are simply more reliable. But, this is still very hot at <$1/GB, not to mention the free USB drive.

I've been scratching my head whether to jump on this deal on not but everytime I see DOA feedbacks from other buyers' it makes me not to buy the item. And as mentioned when I bought my Intel 80Gb, it was also less than $1/GB but has good reliability. Speed is good but without reliability it's worth nothing except headaches!

Sorry for the poor HD forum etiquette, but buyer beware!

My OCZ Solid 3 has been nothing but problems. Frequent BSODs despite current firmware upgrade.
