I saw this as a shell shocker a couple days ago for $200 and almost pulled the trigger but backed out at the last minute due to cost. At $25 cheaper I can't pass this deal up. Thanks!

Hope you like the monitor. It's amazing how 1080p continues to be so popular; and I imagine most Steam gamers are using 19-24" 1080p TN panels. Yet, here we are with a sub-$200 27" 2560x1440 IPS panel! Obviously it's not going to be as good as a $500-700 1440p IPS panel but I cannot imagine a 27" 2560x1440 IPS panel for $175 being a bad stop-gap until we get 4K 120Hz/OLED FreeSync/G-Sync monitors in 4-5 years from now.

Thanks for the deal, RS! I wish I had the spare coin to afford two or three of these bad boys.

Currently running 2560x1440 on my 24" 1080P HDTV using VSR on my 7950 3GB card. So I really enjoy the increased screen real-estate of 1440P. Only, I don't have to pay to upgrade my monitor, VSR was a free update! :)
