Best part is that these are mostly black instead of that ugly orange. D:

In addition to the 120mm fan being on sale, the 140mm Cougar CF-V14S is down to $9.49 before promo code EMCJHND44 ($7.59 after). Seems like a pretty good deal to me, so I picked up one of each for an upcoming build. I just hope the CF-V12HPB won't have issue with being mounted horizontally. Apparently, some have had issues with this.

I think that that's due to the bearing type.

In my experience, FDBs just don't do well when mounted horizontally.

someone mentioned in another thread that Cougar has since addressed that issue...of course this is just something i was told. i cannot confirm it b/c i didn't have any Cougar fans back when people had complaints...i've only purchased some in recent times, and haven't had any issues at all...i have a few mounted vertically and a few mounted horizontally...

thanks to op for listing this I grabbed a few put one in my

third coolermaster elite 120 build. I use the prolimatech Samuel 17 heatsink a true pleasure to mount (not cheap).

I had a scythe 120mm slim fan and the i7-3770k ran a bit hot.

also no pwm control. I put this fan in and temps dropped 5c.

I also put in a xigmatek 120mm pwm fan for intake. I wanted leds.

this build is really nice I have to post photos.
