Most scalpers probably realize it's too close to christmas to easily scalp.

True, but Wii scalpers have been operating during times when Christmas wasn't an issue, I imagine people will still be heavily interested in Wiis post-Christmas. I see presents of "IOU Wii".

In any event, I already have mine, just wanted to give some forum goers a shot at one since I stay signed up for WiiAlerts for some reason.

I saw about 30 Wii's in the Best Buy at Burlington WA yesterday...I grabbed 1 in Nov so I didnt need one

I immediately contacted my local BestBuy when I saw this post. They were keeping it inside, and you had to ask the cashier.

I got in on this earlier when someone said "Wiis in stock at amazon" with the link on #wii on Efnet.
It was totally an impulse thing, since I stood in line for a few hours last XMas to get my own kids one, so I had no business buying one. But I have this good friend who is a HUGE Nintendo fan, and has been wanting a Wii, but a lot of shit has happened lately so that he couldn't really justify getting one. So I made a few calls and got his wife and another friend of his to go in 3 ways on it for around $90 each so we could give it to him for XMas.

I CANNOT WAIT to see the look on his face when he gets it, he's going to freak out.
