Argh. Great price bump, but I have the games, and the 460SLI is about on par with these. I think I'll hold out one more generation.

I have a 560ti 448 core, would this be a worthwhile upgrade? tomshardware charts show a one tier bump up. is that worth it considering its around 100 once you subtract the cost of the games and 3d mark?

Once the new generation of consoles hit, I'll just grab another one of these and Xfire with my current 7850.

Hows crossfire performance these days?

It's actually a downgrade. The 7850 at stock is about the speed of a 560Ti, and slightly slower than your card.

It looks something like this: http://www.techspot.com/review/639-triple-monitor-gaming/

That being said, while the 7850 Crossfire set in that review appears to beat the 7970 is just about every game, the author does not comment on actual playability, and my guess is that it would be inferior to a single 7970.

I might have to jump on this as an upgrade to my 5770. Not sure if this card is overkill for my i5-750, but with the game bundle it is hard to pass up.

I ordered a Sapphire 7870 before but felt I didn't need a $219 graphics card for my Athlon X4 635 system so I cancelled it. This deal looks very good though. It might be better to get this one. I'm pretty sure almost anything would be better than the integrated graphics I'm currently using :D I have just ordered it.

Thank you

The i5-750 is a very good match for an HD7850. You should experience 2 to 2.5 times the performance of your 5770 in most games: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/538?vs=549

It would take a significantly more powerful card to result in a CPU bottleneck. You could potentially encounter that if you started pushing a serious OC on a 7850, in which case you'd probably be doing the same with your CPU.

Thanks for the information. I pretty much run everything at stock so this looks like a winner.

Bought one today. Was looking for a good deal on a 2GB 7850 for awhile. Thanks OP!

After reading some reviews it seems that this particular 7850 is fairly loud under load. I think I will probably hold off to see if one of the quieter cards (PowerColor, Saphire) drops a little in price. Still a hard deal to pass up though.
