I still notice people buying the 6970 for that price on Ebay: used & without the games. Go figure. AMD really marketed the 7850 & 7870 (reloaded bundle) to bring value to the mid level gaming mass. Gotta applaud AMD for that.

Other than the coolers and having locked or unlocked voltage there isn't much difference in them. Unlocked voltage is only needed if you want to under volt your card or over volt it and overclock.

Which ones are unlocked voltage? I thought they were all locked by now? The earlier revisions of the Sapphires were unlocked, but I hear that recent vintages are locked.

The one from the deal is unlocked and MSI even includes custom voltage tweaking / OC software for it (supposedly the caps with it allow for decent overclocking; I'll be testing the OC on mine soon. )
