Yesterday I bought a MSI KT3 Ultra, 256mb Kingmax DDR400 ram, and a SkyHawk aluminium case.
Installed everything and took my current Athlon xp 1700+, hard drives, video card and sound card and ethernet card
and put them into the new system. Booted up everything was fine. Then next thing I did was turn on the comp and
then the board starts beeping that my CPU fan wasn't running. But It was running just fine. I have a Thermaltake
Volcano 7 BTW... then I went into the bios and set the config "High Performance Defaults" and saved and rebooted
the computer. Now my system isin't running anymore. And my monitor shows blank screen like there is nothing coming
out from the video card. The D-led has 4 lights and they are all RED. In the manual it says that 4 Lights means that the
CPU is not inserted correct or damaged. But then I took everything out and put my CPU into my old motherboard and then
it booted. So my CPU is not DoA and it's fine. so then I proceeded to install my old Duron 800 into the new motherboard to
see if it's my motherboard that might be wrong... Then night thing you know its the same thing as my Athlon XP... nothing
happened... so what might be the problem!???
I don't think I can return the board to the shop where I bought it from because their store policy says that they don't take
back Refunds/Exchanges...
