I use a B450 Tomahawk. Great board except for a shortage of rear USBs. No need to OC too much more with the way the CPUs work. Just let the CPU autoclock. Although I do run my 2600x all cores at 4100mhz.

ZEN 3 will/should work with all B450s ?

I don't think all B450 motherboards support Vermeer or other Zen 3 processors, but some of them do (e.g. Asrock B450M Pro4). So there doesn't seem to be a limitation in the chipset. It depends on whether the motherboard manufacturer releases a new BIOS for it. I checked MSI's website and Vermeer CPUs are not on the compatibility list at this time. Maybe they want you to buy a 500 series motherboard. It's hard to compare prices at the moment since so many components are currently sold out.
