System:
IWill XP-333
Duron 1 Gig
Crucial DDR
Maxtor D740X
Symptom: Grey screen, No HDD light.

The PSU, Video Card, Monitor, HDD and cable are all OK, and I reseated everything. I'm thinking bad mobo, any other hints/thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks.

need a lil more info, when you press the power button what happens? does the screen turn on at all or stay off, do you get a post beep? is your system speaker and power button hooked up to the right pins, did you check your manual?

if you don't get a post beep, I would suspect the mobo, but just for kicks try starting up with a minimal install (cpu, 1 stick of RAM, and mobo) and see if you get a beep, continue this with each stick of RAM, if you do not get a beep, I would have to say it is a dead mobo.
