I posted this on the mobo forums but got no response, so I'll try here. Last month I bought an Epox 8rda3+ Pro from newegg. Now all of the sudden it won't even power on. I've had stability problems with this system for a while, hence the new mobo, but now when I push the power button, nothing powers up. No hard drives/fans spinning, etc... I replaced the PSU but that doesn't seem to have done any good either. All connections are tight as well. Do you guys think It's a bad board?

well, did you hook everything up properly? this problem is extremely simple to figure out. either you did something wrong, or the board's bad. faulty components are really common because of all the idiots who package the materials. you'd be amazed by how many people are not esd protected when packaging them. yes, they are supposed to wear straps and ground themselves, but it's even simpler to injure a component through static.

If you're sure that you have your PWR lead hooked up properly and all the power connectors to the MoBo are connected then I think you have a bad board, especially since you already tried swapping the PSU.

If you unplug the PSU from the wall, then plug it back in, and hit the PC's power button, do the fans at least twitch for a moment? Could be a short somewhere causing the PSUs' internal breakers to flip.

has a point, also if you take the psu cable off the mobo and short the green / black leads in the middle of the connector(paper clip) then plug it in , it should spin up(the psu is good) If it spins up/comes on then your trouble is in either the case connections as
m1ldslide1 advises or the mobo is bad.I've built many pc's , I have had one bad board that I damaged. All the rest came up with a little love.If your psu is good then you need to dbl check every connection on that board.

Take the mobo out of the case. Hook up the bare essentials (iI'm too lazy to enumerate them here) and give it a go.

Thanks guys. I've already tried everything posted... Guess I'll have to RMA it back to Newegg.
