very decent I might say.
And I have also been impressed how good MC has been to customers who have had major probs, based on my forum cruising

Too tempting to pass up.. Time to dump my remaining Q6600 and get another 2600K..

I'm going with the Asus P8Z68 DELUXEfor a total of $492.88 ...

Thx OP !

Great deal, but I'll wait for the new upcoming products.

to those posting about B&M only; its always like that. They want to try and draw you in to buy more at retail prices. It would be nice to see some deals like this for everyone though

Congrats to all that jump on this

Just want to mention that if you need RAM, check out what they have to offer. They were advertising DDR3-1333 dual channel house brand kits for $20 for 4GB and $40 for 8GB. Nothing special, but cheap and functional w/o rebates.

Ahhh crap, I just bought a P67 mobo and 2500k for $320 there (no deal except $40 off mobo)! Then again, I really wanted the ASRock mobo, and the 2500k is so stinking fast anyway.

If anyone if heading to the NJ store, a lot of the main roads near the river are flooded and all the traffic lights are out.. you'll have to navigate though heavy traffic, down side streets and so on. Be prepared for fun.

Hmm, spending the weekend is this hell hole called jersey and about 40 minutes from the store. Could upgrade my secondary rig to a 2600k with the midrange giga board for about 350, tempting.

Just came back from the NJ store. Had no problems getting there. Storre was only programmed for the $40 discount, had to get on ooverride for the $80. And after wallking around the place, a serious F U to all the bastards that live within normal shopping distance.

Man living down south seems awesome. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on an i5-2500k and mobo for $370 shipped on newegg.com. 2nd day delivery for Alaska is mandatory. Ugh wish we had a Microcenter; I feel ripped off.

Second this sentiment. I've bought a few sets of this RAM and have had no problems with any of it at all. Have been told it is "unbranded" A-DATA memory, if that makes any difference. Just know the stuff works well, esp. for the price.

Have to check the tax amount, but my 2600k and ud3h probably comes to around 350.

Clicking on the LINK in OP, and then scrolling down to their other deals, and then clicking on the 1TB Seagate HD, it says that they no longer carry them. WTF? They have a Labor-day sale, and they discontinue the product that is on sale?

Is this some new tactic on their web site to get people into the stores to find them, or have they truly discontinued 1TB Seagate retail-box HDs? It seems inconceivable to me.

Believe the ad says in store only for them. And there were plenty of them on the shelf.

But that ad says "Add to cart to see price". And when you do that, it says that the item was removed from the cart due to being discontinued.

So there's no way to find out the price of the drive.

This is full of fail. Why would I bother to go to the store, if they aren't willing to advertise the actual in-store price of the item.

I called the NJ store, the Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive ST310005N1A1AS-RK is $49.99. They have plenty in stock.

did you select a store before putting it in cart, that seems to have an effect for in store only sale items

i reserved for the K and GA-z68xp-ud3, the motherboard comes with a 15$ rebate but it requires a purchase date up to 9/4, im wondering if i can make MC process my order with that date.

Go check the MC website, they may have extended the MB rebate purchase date. MC has a tendency to have same rebates just with new dates.
