There used to be free after rebate deals on dusters all the time (all the cans I have in the closet attest to this), but those deals are few and far between lately.

It's going to be a sad day when I actually have to pay for blank CDs, canned air, and surge protectors.

If we've got to pay for this stuff, $2.99 seems like a good price!

Yeah, those can-o-air UPCs were hard to cut out.

Scanners have gone way up too. Remember the $10, $20 and $30 deals. We rarely, if ever, see those anymore.

Not too much FAR stuff as it used to be...

In fact, I never filled out the rebate for the last free after rebate because the instant savings was already good enough and the rest was not worth the stamp and envelope and time for me.

I remember having to call and fight for one. It wasn't actaully worth it, but I did it anyways because I was mad. The rebate got turned down because I didn't include the "original UPC"... Like I was going to hack apart a full can of air and get my tin snips out to send that to them. They did eventually send it.

At least this has instant rebate

Mine have not shipped yet either. I called their "customer service" number. My phone has a timer on it and after 114 minutes on hold I gave up (exactly whaty they wanted all along).

Havoing gotten used to palces like NewEgg that ship the same day, places like CompUSA give me the runs. I noticed ojn the order it says "ships in 7 - 10 days".

7 - 10 DAYS? What they have to drive to China to get them.

Not only has it not shipped, you can't seem to cancel either, via e-mail (no response) or phone (hold for 1+ hour and can't reach anyone).
